About us

A Family-Owned Dog Ranch in South Surrey

An experienced team of groomers, trainers and lifelong dog owners, on a property built around the one thing most daycares can't offer: room to roam.

Why “Argos”

Named After the Most Loyal Dog Ever Known

In Homer's Odyssey, Argos was the dog who waited twenty years and still knew his master the moment he came home.

He knew his lord; he knew, and strove to meet;In vain he strove to crawl and kiss his feet;Yet (all he could) his tail, his ears, his eyes,Salute his master, and confess his joys.Soft pity touch’d the mighty master’s soul;Adown his cheek a tear unbidden stole…

Homer, The Odyssey, Book XVIIAlexander Pope translation, 1725–26

One Family, One Team, Room to Roam

Argos Pet Ranch is family-owned and operated on a wide-open property in South Surrey. Our team brings together professional groomers and trainers, and every one of us cares for dogs at home, too. Your dog is in experienced hands, and caring ones.

It was never meant to be an indoor room with a yard bolted on. The land is the whole idea: space for every dog to run, sniff, play and rest, across daycare, boarding, grooming and training.
